OHANA FEST FOUNDER & YOGA TEACHER
Jodi is a native of Nashville, TN where she grew up in a fast paced family of six. While studying at The University of Tennessee, she began practicing yoga as a way to workout and stay fit. It wasn't until she moved to Virginia Beach, had two kids, and needed to slow down, that she truly fell in love with yoga. She acquired her 200 Hour YTT in 2013 in Mulit-Style from Zen Hot Yoga and has been teaching ever since.
Yoga has transformed her life by giving her an outlet to slow down, be present and a way to stay healthy, mentally and physically.
Jodi first worked in advertising when she moved to Virginia Beach and soon became involved in organizing and promoting special events. The atmosphere and connections made through these areas gave her the avenue to pursue a two year dream of starting a true family style yoga and outdoor activity festival.
Not only has yoga allowed Jodi to follow her dream, but it has also a constant reminder of what is truly important... FAMILY. She also loves the fact that her two children, Emma and Ryder, are her biggest decision makers and critics.
"Yoga means something different to everyone! For me it's life, love, happiness and a way to constantly connect with family and friends. FAMILY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!"
