Chelsea Crisp

I was born in Virginia Beach, but I was raised in the great outdoors. I have had a passion for exploring and seeking adventure as long as I can remember. I began climbing when I was 19 and haven't come down since. I have since been a belay instructor and I have coached a local youth climb team. I wish to share all that I have learned with as many people as I can. Climbing challenges you both mentally and physically. It is the best way to practice trust with one another and a fun way to get outside!

I am a belay instructor, a kids climbing coach and a techniques instructor.

Why we climb…

“What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. -René Daumal
